There are too many unanswered questions and unknown consequences. –
Growth area developments receiving automatic outline planning permission
Renewal areas receiving planning in Principle,
Protection areas requiring planning applications as now.
What is a beautiful building? Will those who claim they are building beautifully have automatic permission?
Small developments, below 50, would be exempt from payments towards local council infrastructure and affordable housing. S106 agreements would be axed. Will the proposed infrastructure levy meet the needs and demands of the increased population?
Automatic granting of outline planning permission is a charter for developers to build housing with little regard to local consultation.
We must ensure that a robust response to the consultation is submitted by 29th October.
